In this customer test, it was tested whether an igus portal is suitable for use in medical technology. In practice, an ultrasonic testing device is to travel in various positions in order to carry out the testing process. In order to travel the movements required by the customer, the line gantry was mounted on an additional toothed belt axis. With the additional degree of freedom, all requirements could be covered.

igus gantries can be used for a wide variety of applications and usually bring a short payback time due to the low acquisition costs.
